Steps

Step 1  : Ask your client if they have any allergies to face paints or if they have had a previous reaction to face paint.

Step 2 :  Start with a clean face. If your client’s face is not clean, offer baby wipes to clear any food or makeup to ensure the best quality job you can offer.

Step 3 : With a cosmetic sponge or brush, use the white paint and paint from the corner of the eye. Follow the client’s natural face shape to underline their eyebrow. Extend to the edge of their face, curving upwards to create the eyes of Spider-Man.

Step 4 : Repeat step 3 on the opposite eye and fill in completely with white. Be very gentle when painting over someone’s eyelids.

Repeat step 3 on the opposite eye and fill in completely with white.

Step 5 : Paint the remainder of the face red, including lips and under the eyes. You do not have to get right against the underside of the eye to make this effect complete.

Step 6 : Using a thin tipped brush, draw very fine black lines across the face, making a cross centered on the face and then curved lines for an x-like shape. All lines should meet in the same position in the center of the face. Also outline the upper side of the white eye shape.

Step 7 : Start creating the web by adding curved lines between each of the previously drawn lines. Be sure that these new lines curve inwards towards the nose, not outwards towards the edge of the face.

Step 8 : Fill in the web using the same thin, inward-curved lines. This effect is best achieved by having asymmetrical lines.
