DIY Light Up Your Home With Gorgeous Tin Can Luminaries

(Dizano.info) – We all want a little warmth and glow in our homes. Create these fantastic luminaries by upcycling tin cans and transforming them into something beautiful. Here’s how to make your own tin can luminaries:

Materials:

• Tin can, thoroughly cleaned


• Paper and pen


• Nails


• Hammer


• Tea lights or string lights


• Spray paint (optional)

Instructions:

1. Wrap and secure your sheet of paper around the tin can.


2. Using your pen, mark the points on the tin can where you would like to create holes for the light to shine through.


3. Next, line up a nail to one of the dots on the sheet of paper wrapped around the can. Use the hammer to pierce through the can with the nail.
   
   *Another idea would be to use a drill to create the holes in the side of the tin can.


4. Repeat step 3 for each hole until complete.


5. If desired, use spray paint to decorate the outside of the can. Let dry completely.


6. Place your tea lights or string lights inside. Enjoy the beauty of your new luminary!
