How To Lace Scarf in 4 Easy Steps!

What You’ll Need:

Lace fabric 3 yards x 12 inches wide

White embroidery thread

Scissors

How To

Step 1: Cut fabric to the size of scarf you want.

Step 2: Start your first ruffle 2 inches from the side. Secure the first stitch with a knot and start stitching every 1/4 of an inch. For the larger ruffles, stitch 1/2 or 1/3 of an inch.

Step 3: After a few stitches, pull your thread tight. This will create the ruffles. Don’t pull too tight though because you want a little bit of lack so that the ruffles are spread out.

Step 4: Continue this method until the end of the fabric and repeat the same process on the other side. This will create two separate ruffles with about 8 inches in-between.
