A viral photo of Richard Madden – aka Robb Stark – reclining and spreading his legs on the London Tube has really fired up readers of the Men Taking Up Too Much Space On the Train website (yes, there really is such a thing). None of them is likely to gather dragon eggs and a slave army to march on Westeros, but they have got into the GoT spirit of ruthless bloodshed by calling for him to be, er, beheaded.
“Castrate him. Maybe it would free up some of the space his c*** is desperately trying to take up,” said one. We’re sure they meant to say “umbrella”.
“Oh man, Robb Stark is a subway leg-spreader?! Maybe the Red Wedding was justified after all” wrote another.
But Madden also has his supporters.
“Hey now. Robb Stark is the King of the North. He can take up as much space as he likes. When you play the game of underground seating you either win or die,” said one of his loyal followers, presumably a northerner.
The Men Taking Up Too Much Space On The Train website is said to expose a world of sexual politics through public transport etiquette.
It has “shamed” dozens of men, some of whom may be considering starting a Women Taking Up Too Much Space on the Internet site. Just sayin’…
